If you aspire to apply your </span><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63)\">research, writing, organizational, communication, and administrative</span><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63)\"> skills to a transformational organization, apply for this internship at Refugees International. </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We seek a dynamic, motivated intern to support our Strategic Outreach team during the 2026 Summer Summer.  Refugees International’s Strategic Outreach Team advances the organization’s external engagement functions, including communications and media relations, campaigns, government relations, and partnerships.  Below you will see the responsibilities and qualifications for the internship.   </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Refugees International (RI) seeks great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, and we specifically encourage members of refugee, immigrant, asylum-seeking, or other displaced to apply for the internship.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support advocacy and campaign priorities across the Strategic Outreach team;</li>\n<li>Contribute to a project to digitize Refugees International’s archive;</li>\n<li>Assist with publishing and maintaining Refugees International’s website;</li>\n<li>Draft written, video, and multimedia content for digital platforms;</li>\n<li>Support email communications and maintaining the contact database;</li>\n<li>Monitor and tracking Refugees International social and digital media mentions; </li>\n<li>Research social media trends and digital best practices;</li>\n<li>Conduct research on key advocacy targets, partners, and audiences;</li>\n<li>Assist with digital analytics and performance reporting;</li>\n<li>Monitor major news outlets for issues relevant to Refugees International’s work;</li>\n<li>Support meetings, events, and special projects as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enthusiasm for Refugees International’s mission and work;</li>\n<li>Strong writing, editing, and social media skills;</li>\n<li>Familiarity with digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva;</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks independently;</li>\n<li>Interest in humanitarian issues, forced displacement, and advocacy;</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Be based within the United States;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work at least 250 hours, as guided by RI staff or partners;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Begin in late May 2026 and end no later than late August 2026.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPENSATION</span></p>\n<p>$5,000 Stipend<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TO APPLY</span>  </p>\n<p>Applications should include a cover letter, résumé, and a relevant work sample (can include a short essay, social media toolkit, video, graphic design sample, communications plan, or other work that demonstrates competencies in the requirements described above).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT REFUGEES INTERNATIONAL</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Refugees International advocates for lifesaving assistance, human rights, and protection for displaced people and promotes solutions to displacement crises.
