By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.”</em></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Description:</span></p>\n<p>For the position of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Residential Manager</span>, we are looking for a dedicated, talented individual who has a passion for helping our developmentally disabled adults to achieve their goals and live a full life. Current open position is located in our Babylon, LI group home.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position including contributory medical/dental coverage, free life insurance, retirement savings plan, 18 agency holidays, and generous earned time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major responsibilities include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure quality of resident care is provided, 24 hrs./day, 7 days/week;</li>\n<li>Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans;</li>\n<li>Manage staff scheduling, training, performance management and regulatory compliance;</li>\n<li>Overseeing optimal household maintenance and adherence to budgets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our ideal candidate will have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA/BS plus 2 years’ or HSD/GED plus 3-5 years’ management or staff supervisory experience in a group home for developmentally disabled adults</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications include: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License</li>\n<li>Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to individual's needs</li>\n<li>Ability to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Salary:   </em></span>$68,000/yr.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Core Work Schedule:  </em></span>40 hrs./wk.
