          "text": "<p>The Credit Analyst is responsible for credit application evaluation, approval and administration of customer accounts, and collection of funds while maintaining healthy, profitable customer relationships, within company’s acceptable risk levels. The position is hybrid, requiring in person attendance three (3) days of the week at our Regional Credit Risk office located at 133 Bridgeland Avenue in Toronto.</p><p><strong>Job Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Review new customer applications, determine credit risk and approve new accounts.</li><li>Set and adjust account credit limits collaboratively with Profit Centre Managers and the Credit Manager, as required.</li><li>Inform Profit Centre Managers when there is a change in a customer’s business that might have a negative impact on their credit.</li><li>Collect from customers while maintaining healthy customer business relationships.</li><li>Partner with the sales team to create action plans for higher risk accounts.</li><li>Investigate and resolve customer disputes; address short payments in a timely fashion, meeting or exceeding customers’ expectations.</li><li>Maintain detailed notes in the computer system for each account.</li><li>Prepare delinquent accounts for third party collection, construction liens and bad debt write-offs.</li><li>Obtain required documentation including personal guarantees and letters of direction payment.</li><li>Uphold and exercise at all times Emco’s Core Values.</li><li>Perform any other work-related duties as requested by the Credit Manager.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Team player.</li><li>Possess excellent interpersonal skills and sound business judgment.</li><li>High energy with strong communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to reconcile accounts.</li><li>Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.</li><li>Good understanding and interpretation of credit bureau reporting.</li><li>Knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage.</li><li>Able to learn and operate the Credit software system.</li><li>Commit to a minimum of 40 hours in training and personal development annually.</li><li>Proficient in English, French is an advantage.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>University degree – finance/business/accounting is preferred.</li><li>Working towards a Certified Credit Professional designation or ready to start studies. Tuition fees are reimbursed upon successful completion of each CCP program course.</li><li>Minimum 1+ year of credit or finance experience.</li><li>Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite. &#xa0;</li></ul>",
