          "text": "<p>As a Quotations &amp; Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for interacting with engineers, contractors, business owners and interpreting project requirements to create competitive quotations and submittal packages. You will provide exceptional customer service required to secure the sale and meet or exceed gross profit targets. In addition, you will negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, delivery, and terms of purchase to ensure optimal order fill rates and high levels of customer satisfaction for project material. You will also analyze and manage processes at the Profit Centre, solve problems and continually strive to find the most effective methods for productivity improvements. You will be accountable for implementing change and training the teammates involved.</p><p><strong>Additional duties will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Interpret complex information including civil plans to determine customer requirements and offer solutions that maximize profitability and create high levels of customer satisfaction</li><li>Create accurate and professional quotations packages from customer specifications/drawings using applicable software</li><li>Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with both vendors and customers; expedite orders when required</li><li>Follow up on outstanding quotations to secure orders and improve upon the process and effectiveness</li><li>Investigate customer and vendor problems, and resolve pricing shortfalls and material returns in a timely manner</li><li>Support the Profit Centre Team as an expert in the specifics around projects and operations</li><li>Schedule and train teammates to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable operations at the Profit Centre</li><li>Analyze data and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase ROI and profit sharing in conjunction with the sales team and&#xa0;Profit Centre Manager</li><li>Review daily sales reports and address issues immediately</li><li>Manage the annual physical inventory count; ensure the count is done efficiently and accurately by evaluating inventory reports regularly</li><li>Resolve all customer, vendor and carrier complaints and disputes quickly and effectively</li><li>Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre</li><li>Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager</li></ul>",
