    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>South Country Co-op is seeking a <strong>customer-focused and team-oriented</strong> <strong>Full-Time Gas Bar Supervisor to join our team at the Eagle Butte Gas Bar located off of Highway #1 in Dunmore, Cypress County, AB</strong>. Reporting to the Gas Bar/C-Store Manager, the Gas Bar Supervisor plays a key supervisory role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting a high-performing team.</p><p>This position is responsible for assisting in sales, inventory control, merchandising, administrative tasks, and Gas Bar standards. The Supervisor will also perform the duties of a Gas Bar Attendant, including fueling support, operating the POS system, stocking, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide world-class customer service to all guests</li><li>Supervise daily operations of the Gas Bar, supporting the Gas Bar Manager</li><li>Assist in inventory control, placing orders, and receiving shipments</li><li>Operate POS systems and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately</li><li>Help with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining clean, organized displays</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the Gas Bar, fuel pumps, car wash, and propane station</li><li>Support the training and onboarding of new team members</li><li>Ensure all operations follow Co-op policies and safety procedures</li><li>Perform duties of a Gas Bar Attendant as required</li><li>Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally</li><li>Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be at least 16 years of age</li><li>Minimum 2 years of retail experience, ideally in a convenience or gas station setting</li><li>Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience</li><li>Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions and lift up to 30 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally</li><li>Strong numeracy skills and ability to operate calculators, POS terminals, and registers</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li><li>High level of integrity and professionalism</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills; able to lead and work in a diverse team environment</li><li>Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced setting</li><li>Proven leadership skills with a focus on team engagement and motivation</li></ul><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p><p>This position requires full availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.</p><p><strong>Why Work with Us?</strong></p><p>At South Country Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success.
