We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs diagnostic testing procedures for use in patient management and treatment.</li>\n <li>Provides quality lab services to the hospital in all aspects of test performance, including the pre & post-analytic phases of testing.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to provide Laboratory services appropriate for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.</li>\n <li>Performs high complexity testing.</li>\n <li>Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis.</li>\n <li>Provide technical information about tests to providers, patients and family members.</li>\n <li>Extremely high degree of accuracy and responsibility required in the performance of this job.</li>\n <li>Performs phlebotomy services as assigned.</li>\n <li>Performs venous and capillary blood collection procedures on inpatients, outpatients and nursing home patients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete Laboratory Board of Certification through an approved agency such as American Society of Clinical Pathologists within one year of hire.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.</li>\n</ul>",
