These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Machine Adjuster</strong></p>\n<p>Alsip, IL</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$21.50/hour - paid weekly</strong></li>\n <li>Earn a <strong>sign-on bonus of $750.00 - </strong>paid in installments at <strong>30 days, 90 days, and 6 months </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform various duties to troubleshoot and repair production machines</li>\n <li>Conducts machine setup, order changes and preventative maintenance</li>\n <li>Submit accurate production reports daily and timely</li>\n <li>Comply with and enforce all safety policies and procedures, i.e.: proper PPE usage, machine guarding, LOTO etc. are following strictly.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to all quality practices and standards</li>\n <li>Follow and enforce all GMP’s and SQF requirements</li>\n <li>Support and recommend improvement strategies to improve safety, production output, and quality</li>\n <li>Monitor bags being run, making sure hourly samples are taken in order to inspect quality and catch any defects and unnecessary waste</li>\n <li>Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including food safety</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li><p>Complete Level 1 and Level 2 Machine Operator on site as a Jr adjuster to move into Adjuster Supervisor Role</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to lift 50 lbs</p></li>\n <li>2-5 years Machine Operator experience preferred</li>\n <li>Effective listening, speaking & writing ability in person and on the phone</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and quality instructions, and procedural manuals</li>\n <li>Ability to complete routine reports and records</li>\n <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide</li>\n <li>Ability to write clearly and concisely, using good grammar and professional style</li>\n <li>Self managing with organization and time management skills</li>\n <li>Must have good eyesight (no colorblindness) in order to spot flaws in color comparison, print set-up, etc. as bags or film come off the production line</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDQSR</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
