This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, bringing organization to accounting operations, and working closely with leadership in a collaborative environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The company specializes in commercial, government, and industrial construction projects including brick, block, stone installation, concrete work, and restoration/repair projects ranging from $20K to $5M in value.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">What You’ll Do:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper coding</li>\n<li>Prepare financial reports and support day-to-day accounting operations</li>\n<li>Track and analyze job costs across 20–25 active projects</li>\n<li>Manage and maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules</li>\n<li>Perform month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting</li>\n<li>Complete bank reconciliations and maintain balanced accounts</li>\n<li>Assist with AIA billing related to construction projects</li>\n<li>Support collections efforts and financial tracking</li>\n<li>Help clean up and organize financial records to bring accounting processes up to date</li>\n<li>Work closely with the Controller and leadership team to improve processes and maintain accurate reporting as the company continues to grow</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Project Details:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>20–25 active projects at a time</li>\n<li>Project sizes ranging from $20K–$5M</li>\n<li>Project durations ranging from 1 month to 2 years</li>\n<li>Commercial, government, and industrial projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">What They’re Looking For:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3–5+ years of accounting experience</li>\n<li>Construction accounting experience REQUIRED</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of job costing, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, WIP schedules, month-end close, bank reconciliations, and AIA billing</li>\n<li>Experience with Deltek REQUIRED!<br></li>\n<li>Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable helping bring structure and organization to a growing accounting department</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*****<em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY *</span>******</em></p>\n<p>Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
