This is how we create Customers for Life!<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Powers Controls Technicians install, service, or repair HVAC Controls systems in commercial establishments depending on job role.<br><br>Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Install controls components at the highest quality</span></li>\n<li><span>Read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints</span></li>\n<li><span>Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals</span></li>\n<li><span>Organize work and meet deadlines.</span></li>\n<li>Bend Conduit, pull wire, install sensors<br></li>\n<li><span>Work individually or as a team to complete projects.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Skills and Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Minimum Requirement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Exceptional customer relations and communication skills </span></li>\n<li><span>Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn more detailed operations.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be Reliable - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be Responsible - Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one’s conduct.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Additional preferred skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>1+ years’ Electrical and/or HVAC controls/installations experience</span></li>\n<li><span>Understanding of Building Automation Software (BAS).</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a Safety Sensitive position.<br><br><span>Powers requires pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.<br><br>Powers provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.</span></p>",
