    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\">JOB SUMMARY</p><p>A nurse practitioner is responsible for the quality and completeness of assigned medical services. The Nurse Practitioner must be knowledgeable in systems improvement. To provide primary health care services consistent with the philosophy of Alina Lodge. Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and in accordance with standardized procedures, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary care to guests through regular health assessments and the management of common acute and chronic stable conditions. The Nurse Practitioner obtains a health history and performs a physical assessment, identifies problems, and formulates plans that include treatment, health education, and counseling. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with other health care professionals in assessing and managing health care problems and maintaining continuity of care.</p><p>MAJOR JOB DUTIES:</p><p>Guest Care</p><ul><li>&bull; Provide primary care to members, including histories, exams, lab tests, prescriptions, and referrals within prescribed up-to-date guidelines and protocols.</li><li>o Provide medical evaluations to guests 18 years and older, with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders, within 24 hours of admission to the organization.</li><li>o Conduct routine pharmacological management and evaluation.</li><li>o Order and interpret diagnostic tests.</li><li>o Order medications via the facility&rsquo;s EMR for the appropriate guests.</li><li>o Review urine screens as needed.</li><li>o Order and review blood work as needed.</li><li>o Conduct follow-up appointments as indicated by guest acuity and need, using medical progress notes.</li><li>o Write orders for medical medications and treatments, under the guidelines of licensure.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Provide guests with information concerning their evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. Engage members in participation and decision-making involving their healthcare. Provide counseling for guests with diet, hygiene, and preventative healthcare.</li><li>&bull; Collaborate and consult with MD&rsquo;s consistent with Alina Lodge practice standards and Collaborative Agreements.</li><li>o Collaborate with the facility&rsquo;s Medical Director</li><li>&bull; Maintains and follows guest care protocols.</li><li>&bull; Works with members of the healthcare team in educating the guests about their medical care.</li><li>&bull; Coordinates with the care team throughout the treatment week.</li><li>&bull; Utilization reviews as requested by UR for peer-to-peer.</li><li>&bull; Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation as determined by the facility in which the APN is providing services.</li><li>&bull; Provide comprehensive documentation to document ongoing needs for treatment.</li><li>&bull; Assist in the development of Standards of Care for the medical department. &bull; Demonstrate clear knowledge of Alina Lodge&rsquo;s structure, standards, procedures, and protocols. &bull; All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>&bull; Master&#39;s in nursing required, Doctorate of Nursing preferred.</li><li>&bull; Current New Jersey License as a Nurse Practitioner</li><li>&bull; National Board Certified</li><li>&bull; Current DEA license.</li><li>&bull; American Association of Nurse Practitioners</li><li>&bull; American Nurses Credentialing Center</li><li>&bull; EMR/EHR experience</li><li>&bull; Registered Nurse with current active licensure in the State of New Jersey.</li><li>&bull; Current CPR for Healthcare Workers Required</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>&bull; Experience as an RN in behavioral health is preferred, in addition to experience in a treatment program or facility providing detoxification services.</li><li>&bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.</li><li>&bull; Ability to work well under pressure, analyze and evaluate individual members&rsquo; needs, reach sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.</li><li>&bull; Must be detail-oriented and be able to multitask effectively.</li><li>&bull; Demonstrate experience in the delivery of primary care.</li><li>&bull; Must be sensitive to the diverse patient population.</li><li>&bull; Demonstrate clear knowledge of Alina Lodge&rsquo;s structure, standards, procedures, and protocols.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">&bull; Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels.</li><li>&bull; Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li><li>&bull; Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.</li><li>&bull; Strong experience working in Electronic Medical Records</li><li>&bull; Experience in conducting training and education programs.</li><li>&bull; Strong leadership and project management skills.</li><li>&bull; Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.</li><li>&bull; Commitment to continuous professional development.</li><li>&bull; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.</li><li>&bull; Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.</li><li>&bull; Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p><p>The physical demands and work environment require walking, bending, standing, climbing stairs, driving, and running standard office equipment.
