Join Placement Partners today, and help us create a better tomorrow.</p><h2 data-section-id=\"bla08n\" data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"942\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Position Available: Independent Living Specialist (Skills Trainer/Direct Support Professional)</span></h2><ul><li>Provide individualized support to consumers in developing, maintaining, and improving the skills necessary to live independently and successfully within the community.</li><li>Assist consumers with activities of daily living, healthy lifestyle habits, community engagement, and accessing community resources.</li><li>Support consumers in achieving personal goals by demonstrating creative problem solving, interpersonal skills, and healthy decision making.</li><li>Accompany consumers on community outings and serve as an advocate with service providers, while promoting independence, respect, and self-confidence.</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor individual consumer goals, objectives, and outcomes while maintaining communication with interdisciplinary team members and completing required reports and documentation.</li><li>Participate in staff meetings and training, ensure compliance with Minnesota State regulations and company policies, and maintain weekly activity schedules through Google Calendar reporting.</li></ul><h2 data-section-id=\"1fm6vrb\" data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1947\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Qualifications</span></h2><p data-start=\"1949\" data-end=\"2256\">Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma/GED, a valid driver&rsquo;s license with a reliable vehicle and proof of up to date auto insurance.
