This position is expected to monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked and cloud software and associated operating systems. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to the Technology Services staff.</p>\n <p>This position is part of the Technology Division and reports to the Assistant Director of Technology Services.&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n <p><strong>Strategy &amp; Planning</strong>:</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define district requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve systems issues.&nbsp;</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.</p>\n <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with Senior Engineers and IT staff to improve operational efficiency, device management, and deployment processes</p>\n <p>&nbsp;<strong>Acquisition &amp; Deployment:</strong></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Interact and negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure system-related products and services.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lead 1:1 Deployment Teams for all levels (ES, MS, and HS devices)</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Design and maintain 1:1 deployment processes and implementations</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinate inventory tracking, device preparation, staging, and deployment logistics</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycle management processes</p>\n <p>&nbsp;<strong>Operational Management</strong></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems including but not limited to Apple iOS, Apple systems, Mosyle, Intune, and Active Directory; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Design and perform server and system audits related to Apple systems and infrastructure, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with department disaster recovery and continuity strategies.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work with Information Technology Trainer to provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervision and guidance to the apple systems analysts, assigning tasks, addressing performance and performing annual evaluations</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform other duties as assigned.</p>\n <p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field of study preferred</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 3-5 Years’ experience working in the IT industry</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous experience with Server 2008, 2012, and 2016</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
