    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The <span>Quality Assurance Inspector assists in monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to correct or improve the organization’s final product in order to meet established quality standards and the requirements of FAA Rules and Regulations.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions</span><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Performing routine and detailed inspections of final products to ensure they are up to industry and company standards.</li>\n<li>Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards and safety regulations are observed.</li>\n<li>Monitors and maintains aircraft records to include logbooks, FAA Form 337’s, ICA’s, Etc.</li>\n<li>Inspects all aircraft parts for damage, prior to</li>\n<li>Works effectively with engineering and directors in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.</li>\n<li>Document quality assurance activities and create reports.</li>\n<li>Working according to deadlines for delivery of the customers products.</li>\n<li>Prompt and regular attendance.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Type and Expected Hours of Work</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch. The position may allow for remote workdays depending on the work load and evening and weekend shifts may be required as job duties demand.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Some travel will be required as requested by customers. Traveling includes overnight stays outside of the standard working location. Travel to other customer sites within the continental United States and OCONUS travel may be required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.</li>\n<li>Inspection Authorization.</li>\n<li>Minimum Five (5) years’ of aircraft-related experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform all job tasks.</li>\n<li>Minimum of three (3) years’ of Managerial or Lead experience.</li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.</li>\n<li>Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPM and ATA codes.</li>\n<li>One (1) to Two (2) years experience in a 145 Repair Station preferred.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Prior project management experience.</li>\n<li>Prior training experience on aircraft mechanical systems.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Hiring Requirements</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Valid Driver’s License.</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain a passport.</li>\n<li>U.S. Citizenship is required <span style=\"font-family: helvetica\"><span>to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance</span></span>.</li>\n<li>Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits </span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Company-paid Health, Dental and Vision Insurance for employee.</li>\n<li>Company-paid Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Basic Life and AD&amp;D Insurance.</li>\n<li>Supplemental Insurance: Aflac and/or Gap Insurance.</li>\n<li>Supplemental  Basic Life and AD&amp;D Insurance.</li>\n<li>401(k).</li>\n<li>Accruing Paid Time Off.</li>\n<li>Floating Holiday Time.<br></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applications, cover letters and resumes must be submitted online via Bamboo. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">DST LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
