    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Nemours Children’s Health Florida is seeking a full time Neonatal Advance Practice Providers to staff the Level II NICU at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in beautiful Tallahassee. &nbsp;Local candidates encouraged to apply.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Responsibilities include rounding with Nemours Neonatologists on NICU patients, well babies and attending high risk deliveries. The level II NICU is staffed with 24/7 in house Nemours Advance Practice Providers with Neonatologists who round and take call from home. Capital has a 10 bed, level II NICU and supports approximately 1,000+ deliveries per year.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Manages and provides care for the patient requiring neonatal intensive care utilizing collaborative consultation with team members, under the direction and supervision (but not necessarily the direct attendance) of an attending neonatologist.</li><li>Conducts parent interviews and takes family history.</li><li>Collaborates with neonatologists concerning pertinent historical events, physical findings, diagnostic and therapeutic measures initiated on all admissions.</li><li>Orders appropriate laboratory tests and procedures.</li><li>Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures necessary and appropriate for the care of the patient.</li><li>Reviews and provides general care items involved in neonatal care, such as temperature stabilization, hyperalimentation therapy, feeding management, and phototherapy.</li><li>Participates in daily rounds in NICU.</li><li>Rotating shifts required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
