Strong candidates will oversee nursing staff, maintain regulatory compliance, support quality resident outcomes, and help foster a positive and accountable clinical culture throughout the facility. </p><p>The ideal candidate is proactive, operationally strong, adaptable, and capable of thriving within a fast-paced healthcare environment. </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Rochester, NY  <br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time, Onsite <br><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $115,000 – $145,000 USD /Annually <br><strong>Benefits:</strong> Healthcare Benefits, PTO, Vacation Package, 401(k), etc. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all nursing operations within the facility </li><li>Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff across departments </li><li>Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations </li><li>Maintain ongoing survey readiness and implement corrective action plans when necessary </li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and operational performance </li><li>Monitor staffing, scheduling, workflows, and nursing performance </li><li>Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and clinical improvement initiatives </li><li>Build and maintain a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and resident care </li><li>Provide leadership support during audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews </li><li>Ensure proper documentation standards and clinical best practices are consistently followed </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Active RN license in the applicable state </li><li>Previous Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), or strong nursing leadership experience within skilled nursing or long-term care settings </li><li>Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and healthcare operations </li><li>Proven leadership and staff management experience </li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to perform effectively within fast-paced environments </li><li>Strong understanding of clinical workflows, staffing coordination, and patient care standards </li><li>Ability to lead with professionalism, accountability, and a team-oriented mindset </li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong><br>The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market.
