Candidates may choose to sit in our Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston Offices. </strong>Our Public Works Team includes over 20 engineers and scientists as well as a larger national community of practice. The selected candidate will work in our team-oriented environment, primarily providing municipal clients with professional engineering services for water and/or wastewater systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> The selected candidate will have the opportunity to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, ensuring company quality standards, and driving customer value.</li>\n <li>Successfully manage projects for water and/or wastewater clients both new and long-term, supported by talented project teams of engineers, scientists, and planners to deliver a full range of water-related engineering services.</li>\n <li>Nurture and grow client relationships and contracts that include complex, multi-disciplinary projects in planning, design, and construction.</li>\n <li>Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.</li>\n <li>Mentor the technical development of staff and grow the team.</li>\n <li>Manage projects, present at technical conferences, and engage in technical committees.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.</li>\n <li>7+ years of related experience in water and wastewater facilities engineering.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic design, and infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Proficient in engineering design and modeling software, such as AutoCAD, WaterCAD, or similar.</li>\n <li>Experience with project management, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Effective communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead multidisciplinary teams.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
