    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Production Manager</p><p><br></p><p>Department: Full-Service</p><p>Reports To: Operations Manager</p><p>Status: Exempt</p><p><br></p><p>Description: The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production activities</p><p>to ensure dismantling and processing operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in</p><p>accordance with company standards. This role manages production staff, monitors workflow,</p><p>and ensures production goals and quality expectations are consistently met.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities include the following:</p><p>● Oversee daily dismantling and production activities to ensure production targets are met.</p><p>● Coordinate employee job assignments and workflow to maximize efficiency and</p><p>productivity.</p><p>● Maintain a visible presence in production areas to monitor operations and support staff.</p><p>● Monitor employee productivity, labor utilization, and overall production output.</p><p>● Identify workflow challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.</p><p>● Track production performance metrics and support achievement of facility targets.</p><p>● Collaborate with the Operations Manager and General Manager to establish and monitor</p><p>performance goals.</p><p>● Ensure production areas remain organized, safe, and conducive to efficient operations.</p><p>● Assist in monitoring and maintaining production equipment, including lifts, gantries, and</p><p>fluid evacuation systems.</p><p>● Promote preventative maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs when necessary.</p><p>● Provide daily supervision, leadership, and guidance to production staff.</p><p>● Support employee training, onboarding, performance feedback, and development.</p><p>● Enforce safety policies, promote hazard awareness, and maintain a strong safety culture.</p><p>● Conduct vehicle and production audits to ensure dismantling quality and adherence to</p><p>company standards.</p><p>● Communicate production updates, staffing needs, and operational concerns to leadership</p><p>and collaborate with other departments to support facility operations.</p><p>● Completes tasks assigned by the General Manager and Operations Manager quickly and</p><p>efficiently.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple</p><p>priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Candidates should possess strong</p><p>communication skills and be able to work effectively with employees across departments.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives is also</p><p>preferred.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to</p><p>perform the essential functions.</p><p>Language Ability:</p><p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance</p><p>instructions, and procedure manuals.</p><p>Education/Experience:</p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of</p><p>education and experience. Experience in automotive recycling, production operations, or a</p><p>related industry is preferred.</p><p>Certificates and Licenses:</p><p>A valid driver&rsquo;s license is required, along with forklift and front-end loader certification, or the</p><p>ability to obtain these certifications through company-provided training.</p><p>Physical Demands:</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an</p><p>employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
