In this full-time position, you will be providing 12 weeks of critical care medicine and 30 weeks of general anesthesia coverage. Must be an anesthesiologist with fellowship training and be board eligible or board certified in critical care medicine. You will be working with and instructing fellows, residents, and other learners in and out of the clinical environment. <strong>Why Choose Us?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>$625,000 annually for full-time services; includes ICU and Anesthesia compensation</li>\n <li>Up to $3,000 annually for CME </li>\n <li>10 weeks paid time off </li>\n <li>$50,000 commencement bonus </li>\n <li>Relocation assistance/allowance available up to *$10,000 for out-of-state or out-of-area candidates</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*receipts required </p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health | Dental | Vision | Life | Disability </li>\n <li>401(k) | Flexible spending accounts </li>\n <li>Medical professional liability insurance (W2 only) </li>\n <li>Paid time off | CME </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To learn more about this opportunity, <strong>text or call</strong> Chris Campanelli at (<strong>914) 635-0062</strong>, or email [email protected]</p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Practice Environment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center. </li>\n <li>The annual anesthesia case volume is approximately 14,300 cases, consisting of ~9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology. </li>\n <li>OB services with 3,000 births annually</li>\n <li>Critical Care Medicine Team provides coverage for 4 ICUs (SICU, MICU, RICU, CCU) with a total of 40 ICU beds – Coverage is divided between ICU teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide 30 weeks of Main OR anesthesia services </li>\n <li>Resident supervision in OR and non-OR cases, occasionally sit your own cases, no CRNA supervision. </li>\n <li>Provide 12 weeks of Critical Care Medicine </li>\n <li>Provide service for 4 ICUs (SICU-open, MICU-closed, RICU, CCU) with a total of 40 ICU beds – Coverage is divided between ICU teams. </li>\n <li>Shift Coverage -typically 7 days of 12-hour days or 12-hour nights. </li>\n <li>Fellow and resident supervision in the ICU setting </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MD/DO Anesthesiologist with Critical Care Fellowship </li>\n <li>BC/BE </li>\n <li>Active state license </li>\n <li>ACLS </li>\n <li>DEA </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physicians in the process of completing their Critical Care Fellowship are welcome to apply.
