This is your opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a pivotal role in delivering critical infrastructure solutions for the communities we serve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position offers fully <strong>remote</strong> capabilities; however, occasional <strong>on-site</strong> responsibilities may be required if you are located near a CHA office.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for electric overhead transmission projects such as rebuilding existing overhead transmission lines, designing new green field transmission lines, and supporting utility project scoping</li>\n <li>Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff</li>\n <li>Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues across critical electric transmission initiatives</li>\n <li>Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable, cost-effective, and future-ready grid solutions</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff working on electric overhead transmission and power delivery projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, PLS-CADD, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.</li>\n <li>Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead impactful electric transmission projects that directly support grid resiliency, energy transition goals, and reliable power delivery</li>\n <li>Mentor and develop emerging engineers dedicated to building the future of energy infrastructure</li>\n <li>Collaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible, supportive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Electric Transmission team is doing?
