All qualified applicants will receive the same consideration for employment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Opportunities for Clinical Instructors</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>We offer flexible teaching options to fit your schedule and lifestyle:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Part‑Time Instructor</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive hourly rate ($40 – $42/hr)</li>\n<li>Regular schedules with extended benefits (morning or evening shifts)</li>\n<li>Able to travel to multiple practicum sites across Lower Mainland (i.e. Maple Ridge, North Vancouver, Richmond)</li>\n<li>Shifts available: Monday to Friday from 7 am to3 pm or 3 pm to 11 pm</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fixed‑Term Contract</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching blocks over 5 - 6 weeks</li>\n<li>Higher rates available ($45 – $48/hr for contracts)</li>\n<li>Able to travel to multiple practicum sites across Lower Mainland (i.e. Maple Ridge, North Vancouver, Richmond)</li>\n<li>Ideal for professionals actively working in the healthcare sector</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Casual Instructor</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pick your hours as available</li>\n<li>Standard hourly rate ($40 – $42/hr)</li>\n<li>Able to travel to multiple practicum sites across Lower Mainland (i.e. Maple Ridge, North Vancouver, Richmond)</li>\n<li>Flexible and supportive</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Each of the following minimum instructor qualifications must be met:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Current unrestricted (i.e., no conditions on license or provisional registration) full registration as a licensed practical nurse, registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners (e.g., completion of Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent education or previous teaching experience with satisfactory references or positive performance evaluations and student course evaluations).</li>\n<li>Two or more years of full-time Canadian nursing experience (1 year = 1400 work hours) with relevant knowledge of the Canadian health care system, the roles and responsibilities of healthcare team members and current policies and procedures within residential and community care settings. Nursing work experience to include:</li>\n</ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in working with older adults with complex health needs; and</li>\n<li>Experience or orientation (e.g., shadow shifts) in home support and multi-level/complex care.</li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Evidence of completion of course work in Indigenous cultural safety and humility (e.g., San’yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training or an alternative training program).</li>\n<li>Evidence of completion of the Health Care Assistant Practice in BC course available on the LearningHub as part of their orientation/on-boarding.
