Working in an MSP environment, you will focus on threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security control optimisation across multiple customer estates.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will work closely with Network Operations, Service Desk, Projects, and third‑party vendors to ensure customer environments remain secure, resilient, and fully aligned with SLA and regulatory requirements.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Candidate:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>What We’re Looking For:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core / Strongly Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven hands-on experience in a Security Operations, SOC, MDR or MSP environment, with a strong background in investigating and responding to security incidents</li>\n<li>Strong practical knowledge of modern security technologies including EDR/XDR, Microsoft 365 security, cloud security platforms and associated investigation workflows</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of common attack techniques, vulnerability management and incident investigation methodologies, with the ability to assess risk and drive effective remediation</li>\n<li>Experience working collaboratively across technical teams and with third-party security partners to investigate, escalate and resolve security incidents</li>\n<li>A proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable security guidance and improvements</li>\n<li>Experience supporting firewall and network security controls (Fortinet preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certifications (one or more preferred)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst) or equivalent hands-on SecOps experience</li>\n<li>CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent cybersecurity certification</li>\n<li>Fortinet Certified Professional</li>\n<li>Email security / threat protection certifications or experience (e.g. Mimecast, Microsoft Defender for Office 365)</li>\n<li>Other industry security certifications or demonstrable practical experience in Security Operations</li>\n<li>Actively working towards further cybersecurity certifications and professional development</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Desirable (Not Mandatory)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with SOAR tools and security automation</li>\n<li>Exposure to vulnerability scanning platforms and risk management processes</li>\n<li>Experience in a multi‑customer MSP environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Technical Expertise:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response</li>\n<li>Firewall security services, VPNs, and secure remote access</li>\n<li>Vulnerability remediation and risk reduction</li>\n<li>Structured incident, problem, and change management</li>\n<li>Security hardening and configuration best practice</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Professional skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands‑on, operational engineer with strong investigative
