Serves as a role model of excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.  Administers staff development programs through needs assessment and implements education and training programs for clinical staff.  Functions in a leadership role as a clinical expert. Develops and implements training and maintains established standards of care through quality improvement activities. Maintains unit-specific quality, accreditation, and clinical competency programs.   Responsibilities involve providing staff instruction on the collection of data, assisting with the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, and serving as a resource to departmental and other hospital staff. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED:</u></strong></p>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing </li>\n<li>Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.</li>\n<li>Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). </li>\n<li>Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).</li>\n<li>Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED:</u></strong></p>\n<li>Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units. </li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>8am-4pm\n<h2>On-Call Requirements:</h2>No",
