The Customer Service Agent will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to this position. Responsible for greeting and fulfilling club member needs in a friendly efficient environment as they relate to the Emerald Aisle rental process. Provide member with appropriate vehicle selection as determined by the Emerald Aisle program guidelines. Create and maintain a friendly, efficient environment for all customers. Assist in making all transactions quick and efficient.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> This position pays $19.50 / hour with an opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses up to $1,000 / month. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a union environment, the schedule for this position requires open availability which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is located at Midway International Airport at the Midway Multi Modal Facility - 5150 W 55th st. Chicago, IL 60638. <strong></strong></p>\n<p><strong>This is a seasonal position with a 6 month maximum length of employment with a start date of May 2026 and end date of October 2026.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greets and answers customer questions and provides assistance based on each customer’s needs and requests, by brand. In some locations, which offer both brands, this job responsibility requires keen understanding of the differences between products and services offered by both.</li>\n <li>Identifies and attends to the customer by name, verifies rental agreement and reservation</li>\n <li>Ensures a pleasant, smooth and efficient handling of the rental for each customer by assisting in the exchange and return vehicle processes</li>\n <li>Works on behalf of the customer and the company to resolve issues in a fair and equitable manner to ensure continued customer loyalty</li>\n <li>Makes eye contact and greets all customers; thanks each customer at the conclusion of their transaction</li>\n <li>Provides all customers with undivided attention while assisting them</li>\n <li>Prepares all rental and return documents accurately and completely</li>\n <li>Offers all customers assistance with directions, maps, local area information and appropriate service information</li>\n <li>Reviews rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges</li>\n <li>Ensures that the return date and time on the rental agreement is accurate</li>\n <li>Reviews all charges at the time of vehicle return</li>\n <li>Prepares the Rental Agreement Folder with all required information</li>\n <li>Answers the telephone in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner</li>\n <li>Maintains the appearance of the rental counters and customer areas to present a neat and orderly image</li>\n <li>Ensures that the counter is stocked with appropriate supplies to provide smooth and effective counter service, and maintains work area in a safe and clean condition</li>\n <li>Assists customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and provide the most efficient service possible</li>\n <li>Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting</li>\n <li>Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality</li>\n <li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation on driving record in the last 3 years</li>\n <li>Must live within 30 minutes of Midway Airport</li>\n <li>Seasonal employees may work May 2026 up until November 1, 2026. They must experience a 13 consecutive weeks break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee.</li>\n</ul>",
