In this role you will work on integrating and developing solutions for encryption/decryption services and managing Big Data in a cloud environment. Your expertise in technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce, and NoSQL (HBase, Accumulo) will be key to optimizing distributed systems. This role requires a TS/SCI FSP and resides in Ft. Meade MD.&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">What you will do:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Administer and sustain operating systems and software for large cloud-based systems.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Develop, integrate, and test software to provide encryption/decryption services within a cloud environment.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Work with Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce), Pig, and Hive to process and manage large datasets.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Integrate cloud components with IC GovCloud services, ensuring high availability and scalability.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Work with NoSQL technologies such as HBase and Accumulo to support Big Data storage and processing.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Design and develop Object-Oriented systems, focusing on performance and scalability.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">What you bring:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">6+ years of experience with Java programming language.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4+ years of equivalent experience).</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and MapReduce programming.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Strong experience in developing solutions with NoSQL databases (HBase, Accumulo, MongoDB).</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment and understanding cloud scalability.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Expertise in data serialization formats like JSON and BSON.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">Hadoop Cloud Certification and experience with Apache Nifi.
