    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ​Senior Knowledge Manager, Engineer Tech Writing, is expected to be able to accomplish the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Acquires, maintains an understanding of, and leverages knowledge about business activities on behalf of the organization.  </li>\n <li>Provides the transfer of knowledge sharing, so that the organization know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders.   </li>\n <li>Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes.  </li>\n <li>Strengthens links between knowledge sharing and the information systems and improves integration among information systems in the organization to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.  </li>\n <li>Promotes collaborative tools such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.  </li>\n <li>Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting.  </li>\n <li>Shares experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies.  </li>\n <li>Helps to monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities.   </li>\n <li>May supervise more junior team members.  </li>\n <li>Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.  </li>\n <li>Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs and with the company’s or customers information infrastructure.  </li>\n <li>Experience in establishing effective partnerships within and outside the organization.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance</li>\n <li>BS, 10-12 years of relevant experience; MS, 8-10 years; PhD, 5-7 years</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) – KM Institute </li>\n <li>Certified Records Manager (CRM) </li>\n <li>AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP) </li>\n <li>ITIL 4 Foundation (for service knowledge integration) </li>\n <li>Society for Technical Communication (STC) Certification </li>\n <li>Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) </li>\n <li>Plain Language Certification (federal communications alignment) </li>\n <li>UX Writing or Content Strategy Certification </li>\n <li>Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert </li>\n <li>SharePoint Administrator Certification </li>\n <li>Microsoft Power Platform Certification </li>\n <li>Atlassian (Confluence/Jira) Certification </li>\n <li>CompTIA Security+ CE` </li>\n <li>Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager, Engineer Tech Writing, to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).
