As the Systems Engineering Manager at Centrus Energy, you’ll lead the team responsible for maintaining the integrity, reliability, and performance of plant systems that support mission-critical operations. From safeguarding design bases to enabling continuous improvement, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the plant runs safely, efficiently, and effectively.<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll build, lead, and mentor a team of systems engineers while providing technical oversight to ensure plant configurations remain aligned with design bases and safety requirements, including items relied on for safety (IROFS). You’ll partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Design, and Construction teams to support system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement modifications that improve reliability and efficiency. Your role will include supporting startup and testing of new equipment, acting on behalf of design authority, and providing leadership with clear insights into system health, performance trends, and opportunities for improvement—all while ensuring cost-effective and compliant engineering solutions.<br><br><strong>We’d Love to Hear from People With:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences, or equivalent technical experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>8+ years of relevant engineering experience supporting plant operations, maintenance, or system engineering functions</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of system design, configuration control, and engineering fundamentals&nbsp;</li>\n <li>4+ years of nuclear experience</li>\n <li>Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><i>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</i></p>\n<p><i>This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.</i></p>\n<p><i>Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
