Much of this is based on earlier continuous improvement methodologies, such as <a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lean_Manufacturing\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Lean Manufacturing\">Lean Manufacturing</a>, <a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Sigma\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Six Sigma\">Six Sigma</a>, and <a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_Management\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Scientific Management\">Scientific Management</a>. The focus of continuous improvement is toward a long-term change in organizational culture.</p><p><strong>Essential Accountabilities:</strong> The position incumbent ensures, that</p><ul><li>Lead the deployment of continuous improvement at the site assigned (40%)</li><li>Lead training and improvement activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Plan and track continuous improvement activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Secondary Accountabilities:</strong> The position incumbent ensures, that</p><ul><li>Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.</li><li>Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety &amp; Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.</li><li>Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirement Profile:</strong></p><p><strong>Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree (B. A.) in Engineering or closely related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum five years&rsquo; experience in Operational Excellence in automotive manufacturing.
