You will be involved in projects from their concept phase all the way through to deployment and operations. Working as part of a highly-skilled engineering team you will build services that improve the performance, availability, and security of our customers' networks without the need for human intervention in the following areas:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Next-Generation Firewall</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Traffic Identification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Traffic Reporting</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold\">Your Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">For this position, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about networks, automation, and complex problem-solving.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Higher education (ETH, university, FH) with a degree in Computer Science or a related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Understanding of networking technologies and protocols (e.g. firewalls, dynamic routing, TCP/IP, ...)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience with Linux or UNIX-based operating systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience in software engineering with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python, Perl) and concurrent compiled languages (e.g. Go, Rust, C)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Proficiency in English</span><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold\">Bonus</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Practical experience in Go, Python, Perl or Bash</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience with the Linux Netfilter framework</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience or interest in eBPF for networking, security, or performance optimization</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Knowledge of network security concepts and practices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Knowledge of software and system testing practices (CI/CD)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Familiarity with agile development cycles</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">In addition to your work in a Development team, you will become certified as a Mission Control Engineer, providing you with knowledge in a wide range of networking and security topics.
