This includes planned and unplanned situations such as PTO, maternity leave, and other temporary coverage needs.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide high‑quality medical care in SNF and ALF settings</li>\n <li>Step into existing care teams to ensure seamless patient coverage</li>\n <li>Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and clinical environments</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Curana standards</li>\n <li>Collaborate with facility staff and Curana clinical leadership to support patient outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Schedule & Travel Requirements</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Full‑time,<strong> </strong>Monday–Friday</li>\n <li>Assignments may be<strong> </strong>anywhere within North Carolina</li>\n <li>Most assignments are within 30 minutes to 3 hours from home; occasional assignments may be farther, depending on coverage needs</li>\n <li>Providers typically travel Monday morning and return Friday afternoon</li>\n <li>No weekend coverage required</li>\n <li>Assignments generally range from several weeks up to 12 weeks</li>\n <li>Providers receive additional support to account for frequent weekday travel and short‑term facility coverage</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>What We Offer</h3>\n<p>We know that caring for seniors takes more than just medical expertise—it takes support, tools, and opportunities to grow. Part-time employees may be eligible for limited benefits as applicable.</em> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in state of operations & current board certification in your field</li>\n <li>Masters Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills preferred.</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Must possess traits of punctuality, organizational skills, and ability to function within a team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role requires travel to and from one or more assigned facilities. Depending on the amount of travel required, Curana may in future determine that a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required. If so, you will be provided with thirty (30) days notice of this requirement.
