Zant LLC and its subsidiaries (Commodity Sales, LLC / R-Dub Foods LLC) are looking for a strategic and driven Category Manager to lead the growth and performance of key product categories. This role sits at the center of sales, purchasing, and supplier strategy, making it a highly visible position with real impact on revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction. The Category Manager owns the full lifecycle of their categories — from supplier negotiations and inventory planning to sales strategy and customer engagement. In addition, this role manages a personal book of business, working directly with customers to grow revenue and strengthen partnerships. What You'll Do Category Strategy Develop and execute category strategies to optimize product selection, pricing, and promotions Monitor category performance and adjust strategies to maximize sales and margins Identify market trends and new product opportunities Supplier & Purchasing Management Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms Source new products and vendors to maintain a competitive offering Monitor inventory levels and align purchasing with demand Sales Growth Drive revenue growth within assigned categories Manage and grow a personal book of business Partner with sales teams on customer strategy and category expansion Conduct product demonstrations and customer training when needed Financial Performance Manage category performance including sales, margins, and inventory levels Develop forecasts and align purchasing strategies with business goals Operations & Special Orders Manage special orders from pricing through fulfillment Coordinate with operations, inventory, and finance teams Ensure orders meet margin and operational requirements Reporting & Analysis Analyze sales data and performance metrics Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership Use data to improve pricing, product selection, and promotions Qualifications 5+ years of experience in category management, sales, purchasing, or procurement Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and ERP systems Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Education High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred Work Environment On-site position requiring regular in-person collaboration Primarily office-based with occasional interaction with warehouse or operational areas Regular interaction with suppliers, customers, and internal teams Why Join RW Zant High-impact role with ownership of category performance Opportunity to work across sales, procurement, and strategy Collaborative and fast-paced work environment Ability to influence product strategy and revenue growth ✅ RW Zant is committed to delivering exceptional service while building strong partnerships across the supply chain industry.
