With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><strong>Role description:</strong></p>\n<p>Arcadis is seeking a <strong>Senior Construction Manager – Marine Terminals</strong> to lead the project team as an owner’s rep, oversee pre-construction, construction phase activities, and closeout phases for large-scale marine terminal infrastructure projects, including berth and waterfront improvements, utilities, pavements, and related facilities. &nbsp;May also include some structural, roofing, environmental and building work. Projects may require coordination across multiple stakeholders in a secure, operating port environment.</p>\n<p><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Owner’s Representation &amp; Leadership</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as Owner’s Representative under applicable project contracts.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Program Manager, Designer, Contractors, and terminal stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Lead project meetings and provide formal reporting on schedule, cost, and risk.</li>\n <li>Lead project/construction management team.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-Construction Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform constructability reviews, risk assessments, and phasing evaluations.</li>\n <li>Review cost estimates, schedules, and logistics plans.</li>\n <li>Support contractor procurement and bid evaluation.</li>\n <li>Identify and establish project deliverables.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Construction Phase Oversight</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor contractor compliance with contract documents and permits.</li>\n <li>Coordinate work in active marine terminals where operations take priority.</li>\n <li>Track progress, review schedules, and oversee safety performance.</li>\n <li>Oversight of daily field operations to ensure contract compliance and quality control.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Cost, Change &amp; Contract Administration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review payment applications and change order requests.</li>\n <li>Develop independent cost estimates, change modification packages and change logs.</li>\n <li>Forecast final cost and cash flow.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Operational Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan construction activities around vessel schedules and terminal operations.</li>\n <li>Coordinate secure access, shutdowns, and work windows.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Quality Management &amp; Closeout</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor QA/QC, manage punch lists, and oversee closeout documentation.</li>\n <li>Support final acceptance and warranty activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 15 years of construction management experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience of construction in an operational marine terminal environment</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Attributes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of the PANYNJ Tenant Construction and Alteration Process (TCAP)</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain high SWAC clearance.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain a TWIC card</li>\n <li>Trained in OSHA 30 Construction Safety, fall protection, confined space and permit confined space entry&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of the PANYNJ Tenant Construction and Alteration Process (TCAP)&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
