This role supports production by monitoring daily procedures, performing quality analysis, collecting and maintaining product samples, and conducting necessary swabbing and CCP checks. Additionally, the position works closely with production teams to uphold manufacturing specifications and promptly communicate quality concerns to prevent delays. The QA tech must be able to adapt to a variety of work environments and support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP&rsquo;s) to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.</p><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Performs required analytical laboratory tests on process product samples and finished goods. Testing is also performed on product and packaging materials as well as incoming products&nbsp;</li><li>Performs government compliance testing on products that contain alcohol prior to release</li><li>Evaluates all quality data in order to ensure a quality product this may include shutting down packaging equipment in order to maintain quality standards</li><li>Quarantines out of specification product<del cite=\"mailto:Marie%20Kiss\" datetime=\"2025-09-03T11:08\">.</del> and alerts appropriate production teams of impact</li><li>Audits operator quality checks to determine completeness and operators&rsquo; ability to perform the tasks appropriately</li><li>Evaluates instrumentation control through the use of statistical process control</li><li>Monitors, calibrates, troubleshoots, and maintains laboratory equipment, requests assistance from maintenance teams for complex issues</li><li>Completes all required paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Communicates with other departments as needed regarding the status of in process product streams, various materials and/or finished products</li><li>&nbsp;Maintaining housekeeping standards to prevent cross contamination during processing</li><li>Identifies areas of opportunity to improve processes</li><li>Ensures compliance with internal, Federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations including but not limited to: GMP, HACCP, OSHA, FDA, and TTB</li><li>Reviews product formulations and specifications; communicates with other departments regarding new product specifications, methods, and testing needs</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in chemistry or related science field<ins cite=\"mailto:Marie%20Kiss\" datetime=\"2025-09-03T11:13\">;</ins> or prior experience in a quality position in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions</li><li>Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation</li><li>Working knowledge of statistical methods and computer skills</li><li>Must be able to prioritize an assigned workload<del cite=\"mailto:Marie%20Kiss\" datetime=\"2025-09-03T11:13\">.</del></li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends as needed in support of a 24/7 operation&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>City Brewery is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.</em></p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>3rd Shift 11pm to 7am",
