font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for L-band and S-band transmitter systems to include providing directions to technicians assisting in accomplishing these tasks.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead improvement and modernization efforts to include all phases of development from design through system acceptance.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide status reports, performance metrics, and recommendations to the Sensor Manager regarding the transmitter systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Update and maintain system documentation to include manuals, preventative maintenance schedules, and drawings.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Establish and maintain a safety conscious work environment in cooperation with the Safety department.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Collaborate with other groups to include complimentary engineering disciplines to ensure sensor availability is maximized.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead procurement and sparing efforts to include initial component research, vendor selection, and all subsequent actions to ensure necessary components and materials are on hand to support continuous operations.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h1><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><u>Required Skills</u></span></h1><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong understanding of electrical principles, including the fundamentals of transmitter architecture. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong circuit troubleshooting skills and the ability to read and interpret schematics.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Comfortable working with high voltage (up to 120kV), to include troubleshooting.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Familiarity with and demonstrated ability to operate standard electronic test equipment, preferably to include high power Radio Frequency (RF) measurement techniques.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Full understanding of the unique safety issues associated with working at high power RF that are common in this work environment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Knowledgeable on the use and operation of high power amplifiers (HPAs) to include: Klystrons, Travelling Wave Tubes (TWT&#39;s), Vacuum Tubes and transistor devices.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Familiarity with switchgear, analog and digital control hardware, and RFI shielding practices.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Experience with high power vacuum tube operation desired.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Mission operations and test range systems experience, desired.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><u><strong>Additional Eligibility Qualifications</strong></u></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to climb and work at heights up to 75 ft.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;
