In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting local schools in/around Purcellvile,VA<strong>. </strong>ATC needed for game and/or practice coverage in coordination with the local clinical team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position: </strong>Certified Athletic Trainer</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Purcellvile, VA</p>\n<p><strong>Type of Employment: </strong>Per Diem/PRN or Part-time<strong>Schedule: </strong>Hours vary as needed</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$28.00, hourly </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PRN Perks:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Continuing Education: Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learning</li>\n <li>Career Growth: Access to a nationwide, professional support network</li>\n <li>401(k): Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar year</li>\n <li>Diversity: Work with a variety of team sizes, patient populations, and specialties</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation </li>\n <li>Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)</li>\n <li>Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care</li>\n <li>Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.</li>\n <li>Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree</li>\n <li>National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification</li>\n <li>CPR certification</li>\n <li>Applicable state license where required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p>Go Anywhere with Us! 1900 centers in 39 states offering internal movement</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</p>",
