This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and providing timely financial reporting and analysis to clients and internal stakeholders.</div></div><div><strong>Responsibilites:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Collaborative monthly financial statement review, preparation and distribution to clients.</li><li>Composing and posting journal entries.</li><li>Performing monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Preparing weekly overviews of cash position and managing check runs.</li><li>Importing financial data to populate the financial statements.</li><li>Ad hoc projects, analyses, and serving accounting requests and inquiries from client hotels.</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</div></div><div><ul><li>Minimum of two years' related work experience and/or a bachelors or associates degree in accounting.</li><li>Solid GAAP accounting knowledge.</li><li>Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Customer-service orientation with the ability to collaborate in a consistently positive fashion with diverse personalities both in the field and on the team.</li><li>Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Superior analytical and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Solid computer skills and proficiency in diverse software applications including MS Excel.</li><li>Ability to compute moderately complex mathematical calculations and formulas.</li><li>Knowledge of one or more hotel property management systems not required but is a plus.</li></ul></div><div>&nbsp;</div>",
