Description
About the Role
The Technical Services Specialist is the frontline expert for Listen Technologies customers—fielding technical inquiries, diagnosing issues, and delivering exceptional support across pre- and post-sales touchpoints. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Applications, and Product Management.
What You'll Do
Answer technical calls, emails, and chats with a high standard of customer service
Troubleshoot product and system issues, including hands-on equipment setup to replicate and resolve problems
Support Sales with pre-sales guidance, product selection, and system design recommendations
Create and maintain tech notes and application notes
Log all interactions and follow-ups in the CRM
Perform demo kit testing and QC checks
Partner with the Applications Team on pre-release product testing
Assist with QA testing to validate products against quality standards
Collaborate with Product Management to share field feedback and improvement ideas
Process RMAs and provide occasional on-site installation support (some domestic and international travel required)
What You Bring
Technical background with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills by phone and in person
Computer networking experience preferred; QA/testing experience a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Technical degree or equivalent work experience; high school diploma required
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across teams
Willingness to travel occasionally and perform the physical requirements of the role
