          "text": "<p><strong>Responsibilities &amp; Opportunities</strong></p><p>Sika is looking for experienced Machine Operator to join it’s growing team in Gastonia, NC.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p>This position will assist the shift supervisor in coordinating the work of production employees involved in production activities.&#xa0; Requires knowledge of manufacturing processes and product.&#xa0; Operates manufacturing line.&#xa0; Requires the ability to vary prescribed operating conditions as necessary to produce quality parts.&#xa0; Changes and adjust operating conditions to maintain proper quality.</p><p><strong>Other Duties include:</strong></p><ol><li>To operate one or more of the following: the mixing system; calendar; press; hot melt; embosser 1, 2, and 3; anti-sticking agent unit; adhesive unit 1 and 2; U.V. unit; magnetizing unit</li><li>To start up the hot oil heater and water chillers</li><li>Perform quality testing; make corrections for out-of-spec conditions</li><li>Ensure production scheduled to adhered to</li><li>Assist in training new production employees</li><li>Perform some maintenance on the press and report any needed repairs on the machines</li><li>Assist in labeling and packing parts</li></ol>",
