The key projects can range in scope from driving the new product development projects, engineering projects, and new business opportunities. The key responsibilities are to manage the project phases with a focus on minimizing risk, driving the timeline, and staying within budget.</p>\n<h2>Key Duties</h2>\n<p>Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Partner with R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Project Management, Finance, and Marketing and others to define project scope, goals and deliverables as well as successfully manage projects</p></li>\n <li><p>Develops accurate, achievable project plans and consistently communicates the plans with team members and the leadership team</p></li>\n <li><p>Drives team ownership and commitment to project plans and recommends changes when necessary to meet project outputs</p></li>\n <li><p>Tracks and communicates project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensures on-time completion of tasks as required by the project and/or company procedures</p></li>\n <li><p>Facilitates cross-functional project team meetings</p></li>\n <li><p>Other duties as assigned</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other Duties/Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>Physical</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs throughout the workday in a multi- location facility</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to lift to 20 pounds of supplies or finished product throughout the work shift</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to adhere to applicable biosafety practices when on the manufacturing floor or in laboratories</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to stand, stoop, reach, push and pull throughout the course of the work shift</p></li>\n <li>Travel up to 15% </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/Preferred</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in science or business administration or related field OR Bachelor’s degree in engineering</p></li>\n <li><p>At least 5 years of project management experience</p></li>\n <li><p>Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferred</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Competencies Required or preferred</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Demonstrated Project Management skills with proven record of practical project management experience preferably in the diagnostic or related biotechnical field</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrate successful management of product(s) from concept to launch</p></li>\n <li><p>Must have the ability to perform critical path identification</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter, detail- oriented and able to prioritize and balance workloads and timelines and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers and colleagues in a cross functional setting</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be well organized and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written and oral communication skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Basic understanding of device development, engineering, and manufacturing activities is a plus</p></li>\n</ul>",
