This role supervises support staff and works closely with the Clinic Manager to ensure smooth workflows, consistent use of policies and procedures, and a positive experience for patients.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Position Summary:</span></strong></p><p>&nbsp;With a <strong>Quality</strong>, <strong>Customer First</strong>, and <strong>Compassionate</strong> approach, The Clinic Supervisor - Dental will:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assigns tasks and provides daily on-site supervision, guidance, and interpretation of established office procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures all patients are greeted warmly and assisted promptly and professionally.</li><li>Oversees patient triage; obtains and records medical/dental histories and vital signs as needed.</li><li>Assists dentists during procedures and provides backup support to clinical staff when necessary.</li><li>Verifies insurance coverage, obtains copies of insurance cards, and ensures accurate records for billing purposes.</li><li>Collects co-pays and other payments, counsels&#39; patients regarding account balances.</li><li>Participates in Quality Improvement (QI) and Risk Management initiatives; addresses and documents patient concerns following CQI protocols.</li><li>Ensures accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records at all times.</li><li>Monitors patient flow and wait times to improve overall service delivery.</li><li>Coordinates with the enrollment and back-office teams to optimize patient flow and experience.</li><li>Collaborates with the Clinic Manager to maintain compliance with clinical and operational policies and procedures. &nbsp;</li><li>Reviews and monitors utilization reports to ensure accountability and improve patient access.</li><li>Ensures effective provider and support staff scheduling to optimize resources and meet patient demand.</li><li>Ensures patient needs are being appropriately addressed through scheduling and triage. &nbsp;</li><li>Participates in collaborative measures. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Follows and initiates policy for standing orders.</li><li>Participates in planning and follow through on CQI measures. &nbsp;</li><li>Oversees dental supplies inventory and ordering. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Maintains staff levels per FTE guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists with onboarding, training, and skill assessments for new and existing employees.</li><li>Collaborates with the Clinic Manager to conduct timely and objective staff performance evaluations.</li></ul><ul><li>Fosters a team culture focused on achieving departmental and organizational goals; regularly recognizes and celebrates team achievements.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).</li><li>Associates Degree in Medical Staff Services Management preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Dental Assistant training, and/or 2-4 years related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.</li><li>Community Health Care experience preferred. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Perks and Benefits:</span></strong></p><p>At Sunrise, we pride ourselves in over 50 years of exceptional support to our community and employees.
