          "text": "<p>As part of the testing team, technician will be responsible to execute testing and instrumentation activities as regards Chassis, Active Safety and Durability programs. The role requires someone highly organized, objectively-focused, and with ability to manage their own daily routine.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform initial parts set-up including digital pictures, micrometer measurements, visual inspections and parts labeling.</li><li>Execute vehicle maintenance and component retrofits (brakes, suspension, etc.) in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan and specific testing protocols.</li><li>Maintain and monitor test facility conditions daily to ensure compliance with accelerated corrosion testing standards. This includes climatic chamber, salt water basin, and mud pit facilities.</li><li>Execute driving cycles on closed fatigue tracks and public roads in accordance with established testing protocols.</li><li>Install sensors and data acquisition as required for vehicle tests.</li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair all defects found during testing.</li><li>Organize and create labels of tests’ samples using internal SW tools (vehicle and test parts).</li><li>Transport instrumented test vehicles to the proving ground test facilities (around 120 miles roundtrip).</li><li>Ensure that test activities are performed in accordance with the test procedures and test books/checklists. Collect and record all data necessary for the completion of the test report.</li><li>Record when required the videos of the vehicle test maneuvers run in the proving ground with the provided video camera.</li><li>Report to a Senior Technician or Test Engineer the data generated, progress and status of any tasks deployed</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills Required:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma; two-year technical degree or prior trade experience preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a testing environment.</li><li>Automotive technical knowledge of main vehicle component functions and behavior.</li><li>Skill in using hand tools (wrenches, sockets), power tools (pneumatic/impact wrenches), and precision instruments like torque wrenches and dial indicators to meet exact manufacturer specifications.</li><li>Experience with sensors installation, data acquisition instrumentation and objective vehicle testing is an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of the operation of computers with various software applications including Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to quickly adapt to changes in projects and a continuously evolving industry. Must be able to improvise.</li><li>Must be a team player. Must be able to work within and across various company departments.</li></ul>",
