    "description_html": "<p><strong>Electric Machinery Company. a division of WEG Electric Corp.</strong></p><p><strong>Minneapolis, Minnesota</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Position: Crater/ Assembler - 1st Shift</p><p>Team: Assembly</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Major Areas of Accountability:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Makes skids, crates and boxes to required dimensions and wraps, seals, packs and anchors equipment and parts for shipment.</li><li>Reads shipping instructions, packing specifications, dimension drawings and other information covering preparation, handling and transportation of equipment, accessories and parts.</li><li>Does necessary design and layout, makes skids, crates and boxes to process specifications.</li><li>Wraps, seals, packs and braces large and small machines, parts and accessories for shipment, domestic and export.</li><li>Prepares machines and other equipment for long term storage.</li><li>Makes and uses stencils for export boxes.</li><li>Inventories and inspects parts for shipment from invoice or packing list.</li><li>Does necessary bracing, anchoring, wrapping and covering in loading railroad cars.</li><li>Uses Instapak Foam Packaging System in preparing small parts or subassemblies for shipment.</li><li>Fills out and dates all quality and customer documentation required in the shipping department.</li><li>Maintains inventory of materials used in shipping department.</li><li>Actively participates in continuous improvements.</li><li>Requires minimum supervision.</li><li>Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA Regulations.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>High School degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.</li><li>Knows how to use both power and hand tools that are necessary to do the work.</li><li>Must show aptitude to utilize computers for shipping information.</li><li>Must be able to work as a team member.</li><li>Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions)</li></ul><p><u><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Routinely lifts and moves objects up to 20 lbs.</li><li>Occasionally lifts and moves objects up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Routinely ascends/descends ladders and stairs.</li><li>Occasionally works at heights or on platforms.</li><li>Occasionally positions self in various works spaces, including low, tight or confined spaces.</li><li>Routinely remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.</li><li>Routinely uses repetitive motions including the wrists, hands or fingers to operate machinery or tools.</li><li>Routinely operates machinery and power tools</li><li>Routinely moves from one work station to another to accomplish tasks.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Skills Matrix:</strong></u></p><p>The Assembler position is part of the Assembly Team skills Matrix.
