We value the cultural richness that our diverse workforce brings to the care of our equally diverse population of patients and residents. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Your Day to Day:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates Respiratory Therapy care for patients, documenting treatment plans and outcomes. </li>\n <li>Manages oxygen therapy initiation, monitoring, and discontinuation. </li>\n <li>Conducts pulmonary function testing and maintains equipment calibration. </li>\n <li>Assists Physicians with bronchoscopy procedures and sample procurement. </li>\n <li>Performs various procedures including arterial line insertions and blood gas punctures. </li>\n <li>Conducts weaning protocols for patients on respiratory modalities. </li>\n <li>Accompanies patients during inter/intra hospital transport requiring respiratory support. </li>\n <li>Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to procedure development. </li>\n <li>Completes health record reports and workload statistics. </li>\n <li>Provides clinical supervision and evaluation for students. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>We acknowledge that Providence Health Care and the new St. Paul’s Hospital site is located on the traditional, </em><em>ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.</em></p>",
