    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Inventory Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring stock levels in the Mobis Redistribution Center are adequate to meet customer demand by monitoring and forecasting demand trends, placing and tracking purchase orders (POs), and analyzing sales and inventory data. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong> <em>(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</em></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>- Research and review stock levels to determine accurate quantities of parts to place on purchase order (PO)</p>\n<p>- Monitor and adjust orders based on changing demand trends</p>\n<p>- Daily analyze monthly demand for after-service (A/S) parts and provide concise estimated monthly demand (EMD) figures</p>\n<p>- Execute efficient and proper decision making to analyze inventory stocking levels for optimal return on investment</p>\n<p>- Analyze stock levels by part size to ensure warehouse has adequate space to store all stock</p>\n<p>- Plan inventory levels for future seasonal months while incorporating lead time</p>\n<p>- Upload POs to Mobis’ replenishment system for RDC stock replenishment</p>\n<p>- Track POs from suppliers to report and expedite past-due items</p>\n<p>- Prepare and coordinate new model parts planning</p>\n<p>- Upload, process, cancel, and revise POs as needed</p>\n<p>- Collaborate with RDC Purchasing department to determine when to escalate POs to Emergency status</p>\n<p>- Gather and analyze sales and inventory data from replenishment system in order to complete forecasting reports</p>\n<p>- Present finding of forecasting reports to PSP Team Leader as needed</p>\n<p>- Utilize sales and inventory reports for Mobis RDC’s Plan of Action when making ordering decisions</p>\n<p>- All other duties as assigned</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications </u></strong><em>(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)</em></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Statistics, or related field, plus 0 + years of experience in an inventory planning OR Associate degree with 2+ years of experience in an inventory planning.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Good communication, analytical, and technical skills</p>\n<p>Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills</p>\n<p>Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills</p>\n<p>Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>0 - 3 years of inventory planning experience</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<p>95% Office; 5% Floor</p>\n<p>5% Domestic/International Travel</p>",
