Together, we keep getting better - advancing our mission to transform healthcare and serve as a leader of positive change.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsible for providing care to patients under the supervision and guidance of a psychiatry attending physician.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>A day in the life of a Psychiatry Resident at Hackensack Meridian <em>Health</em> includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>As requested, provide care for psychiatry department patients requiring evaluation and treatment in the inpatient, emergency department, and consultation settings.</li>\n <li>Participates in effective communication with physician leadership, nursing leadership, clinical staff, patients, and families.</li>\n <li>Accurately and timely completion of documentation of all patient encounters. Records will be attested to by the attending physician on-call. The billing provider will be the on-call attending physician.</li>\n <li>Follows the Hackensack Meridian Health Medical Board Code of Conduct.</li>\n <li>Participates in educational programs for professional staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current BLS and ACLS certification</li>\n <li>In good standing with the residency program.</li>\n <li>Residents/fellows on a J-1 status are ineligible for moonlighting privileges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized medical school.</li>\n <li>PGY-3 or above, as approved by the Program Director.</li>\n <li>PRITE score > 40% nationally on the most recent PRITE examination.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Licenses and Certifications Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.</li>\n <li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Contacts:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Include all medical center employees and office staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you feel the above description speaks directly to your strengths and capabilities, then please apply  today!</p>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>Minimum rate of $9,505.60 Annually\n<h2>Job Posting Disclosure</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
