We combine industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, implement, and support platform components across AWS, Databricks, and PostgreSQL  </li>\n <li>Administer PostgreSQL, including configuration, backup and recovery, patching, replication, and performance tuning  </li>\n <li>Support Databricks operations, including workspace configuration, job reliability, access controls, and platform troubleshooting  </li>\n <li>Manage AWS services supporting compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoring  </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and database issues across environments  </li>\n <li>Support deployments, configuration changes, and environment promotion activities  </li>\n <li>Build and maintain automation, scripting, and CI/CD processes for repeatable delivery  </li>\n <li>Monitor system health, job performance, and database behavior; resolve operational issues  </li>\n <li>Maintain backup, recovery, failover, and disaster recovery procedures  </li>\n <li>Support data loads, extracts, and cross-environment data movement  </li>\n <li>Maintain technical documentation for configuration, operations, and recovery procedures  </li>\n <li>Apply security controls, patching, access management, and vulnerability remediation  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field  </li>\n <li>5+ years of experience supporting complex cloud or platform environments  </li>\n <li>Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure  </li>\n <li>Strong PostgreSQL administration experience, including tuning, backup and recovery, and availability support  </li>\n <li>Experience supporting Databricks or a comparable cloud data platform in production  </li>\n <li>Experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization  </li>\n <li>Experience supporting controlled releases across development, test, and production  </li>\n <li>Experience with scripting, automation, and CI/CD pipelines  </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of platform security, patching, and access control  </li>\n <li>Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure, platform, and database issues  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools  </li>\n <li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools  </li>\n <li>Experience supporting ETL, ELT, or data movement workflows  </li>\n <li>Experience with PostgreSQL replication and failover  </li>\n <li>Experience with Linux administration and cloud networking  </li>\n <li>Experience with Git-based delivery workflows  </li>\n <li>Familiarity with governance and access controls in cloud analytics platforms  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirement</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a <strong>U.S. Citizen</strong> with the ability to obtain and maintain <strong>U.S. suitability</strong>  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Acuity</strong></p>\n<p>At Acuity, your work matters—and so does your experience.
