Our Duct Mechanics are responsible for diagnosing all aspects of the HVAC system, give customers options and pricing of repairs, order parts for install purposes and collect payment upon completion while ensuring quality work is completed to all local and national codes.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s In It For Me?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Market Value Compensation $22.00 - 24.00 per hour</li>\n <li>Robust PTO Plan</li>\n <li>Health, Vision and Dental plans for you and your family to choose from</li>\n <li>401K Retirement Plan with company match up to 30%</li>\n <li>Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability</li>\n <li>Special Program Options: FSA, EAP, Legal Services, and Identity Theft</li>\n <li>Continuous Training for your Professional Development</li>\n <li>Working in a dynamic, collaborative, and fun environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What Wil I Do?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse New Construction projects, showcasing your expertise in fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings</li>\n <li>Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements</li>\n <li>Install and secure sheet metal structures and equipment such as ductwork, fittings, and hangers</li>\n <li>Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, and drills</li>\n <li>Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts</li>\n <li>Install insulation within ductwork and ensure proper sealing to prevent energy loss</li>\n <li>Comply with all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper handling of materials</li>\n <li>Assemble sheet metal ductwork</li>\n <li>Measure, size, cut, and apply duct insulation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Do I have What it Takes?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanical aptitude    </li>\n <li>3 + years of experience in installation of different duct (rectangle, spiral, oval, flex, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with others, take instruction and work with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Ability to work a 40-hour workweek every week</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass background and drug test</li>\n <li>Results driven in a high-energy environment                 </li>\n <li>Attention to detail                 </li>\n <li>Must be able to follow directions and work independently  </li>\n <li>Must have ALL tools required for the trade                    </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Wrench Group and its affiliates are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
