The operator will perform tasks critical to packaging our products as well as perform quality inspections and verify that product is in conformance with the specified requirements.&nbsp;</p><p>As an employee, this individual must consistently demonstrate The Volpi Way fundamentals behaviors.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Obtain Knowledge of production SKU&rsquo;s</li><li>Effectively demonstrate proper use of manual/hand pallet jack equipment (not motorized)</li><li>Palletize finished cases/pallets</li><li>Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as directed by Team Leader (MSS Tasks)</li><li>Notify Team Leader/ Manager of product, quality issues</li><li>Able to prepare and load product into packaging equipment and/or cases</li><li>Able to assist with film and bag preparation/loading</li><li>Able to hand apply labels to products and cases</li><li>Complete other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent GED is preferred.</li><li>Must be able to understand work instruction in English.</li><li>Must be able to do basic (elementary level) arithmetic functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have the ability to make coordinated movement of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble large and small objects.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to use a knife as needed to cut and prepare meat as instructed.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to stand for entire shifts with periodic, bending, reaching, stooping, and lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.</li><li>Must be able to safely walk and work around machinery and knives.</li><li>Must be able to wear a hairnet, latex gloves, hearing protection, as well as any other PPE.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In addition to hourly pay, you will also have a 5% quarterly bonus potential. &nbsp;You could also be eligible for a promotion to Level II (additional $1/hour) after 30 days of consecutive employment. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive salary with the opportunity of career advancement &ndash; you can earn another $1 per hour after only 30 days! &nbsp;You can earn another $1 per hour after only 3 months &ndash; that&rsquo;s $19/hour after only 4 months!</li><li>Volpi offers the opportunity for further education through our Tuition Reimbursement Program.</li><li>Excellent 401(k) Plan match!&nbsp;</li><li>Volpi provides excellent comprehensive benefit programs &ndash; Medical, Dental, Vision, Dental, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, and more!</li><li>Volpi provides life insurance and disability plans that work for you, providing safety and security for your family&rsquo;s needs.</li><li>Volpi promotes a healthy work/life balance with annual Paid Time Off&mdash;on your schedule.</li><li>Holiday Time Off</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>\n",
