    "description": "<h2>Subsidiary</h2>New Millennium\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as furnace, cranes, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct maintenance employees on day-to-day operations, including work schedule</li>\n <li>Work with production in the event of unscheduled down time</li>\n <li>Assists supervisor with monitoring employee training for accuracy</li>\n <li>Inspects mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots issues as needed</li>\n <li>Welding using oxyacetylene torch, arch welder, and mig welder</li>\n <li>Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and re-assembles when complete</li>\n <li>Examines forms and texture of parts to detect imperfections</li>\n <li>Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements</li>\n <li>Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments</li>\n <li>Repairs or replaces defective parts</li>\n <li>Installs special functional and structural parts in devices</li>\n <li>Responsible that all emission control systems are working properly, and that all federal, state, and local documentation are being followed</li>\n <li>Lubricates and cleans parts</li>\n <li>Starts devices to test their performance</li>\n <li>Works aloft utilizing aerial man lifts</li>\n <li>Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts</li>\n <li>Operates and PM's mobile equipment</li>\n <li>Repairs electrical equipment</li>\n <li>Responsible for ensuring proper safety guidelines are follow with respect to PPE, and other safety policies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or 1-2 manufacturing maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Strong verbal skill to communicate with internal and external customers</li>\n <li>Strong writing skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)</li>\n <li>Advanced problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Advanced mathematical skills</li>\n <li>Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once</li>\n <li>Knowledge in multiple facets of maintenance (IE, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
