We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expect that you’d work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management. You may also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, along with staff management and development, and mentoring tasks. Some of the key responsibilities may include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies;</li>\n <li>Managing complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts for a variety of project sites;</li>\n <li>Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management;</li>\n <li>Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to facilitate repeat business;</li>\n <li>Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability;</li>\n <li>Management and mentoring of early career staff and managing subcontractors;</li>\n <li>Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing;</li>\n <li>Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;</li>\n <li>Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.</li>\n <li>At times, the job may also include travel or field visits associated with site evaluations, remediation system evaluations, or client meetings.</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related field. (required) </li>\n <li>Advanced degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.), if applicable. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) </li>\n <li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required) </li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients (required)</li>\n <li>Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) </li>\n <li>Fieldwork and overnight travel may be required. </li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. </li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees.
