    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Farm Safety &amp; Resources Specialist</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Farm Safety &amp; Resources Specialist helps develop a culture of &lsquo;safety first&rsquo; within the dairy farm environment through implementing initiatives that enhance the existing farm safety program. Additionally, the Specialist will own initiatives designed to strengthen employee engagement, as well as other special projects and analyses benefiting dairy operations and administrative functions. This role partners with site management and office staff, as well as safety committees across multiple locations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Gain a thorough understanding of existing operational activities, safety considerations, protocols, reporting processes, safety committee activities, and training materials.</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive awareness, education, and engagement around safety, sustainability, and other initiatives, as needed&mdash;including through supervisor coaching, hosting on-site training seminars, and facilitating new employee safety orientations.</li></ul></div><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner directly with the Media Production Specialist and subject matter experts across the organization to assist in production of training materials supporting all aspects of farm operations and culture, including safety, animal care, environmental stewardship, and other topics, as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Regularly observe supervisor-led training and safety committee processes. Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication and enhance overall safety program facilitation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Regularly audit and evaluate key operational areas, activities, and processes to identify safety risks and opportunities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with maintaining all safety-related applications, data, key performance indicators, scorecards, and reports utilized by all levels of the organization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with farm teams and industry partners to help develop job certification programs that integrate classroom instruction and on-the-job training with industry best practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Become proficient with Company&rsquo;s systems, applications and SOPs required for daily animal and feed documentation and recordkeeping.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contribute to operations-related special projects, analyses, and administrative tasks, as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other tasks and projects, as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in occupational health and safety, an agriculture-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2+ years of related work experience, preferably in a dairy or agricultural setting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bilingual/Spanish skills required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-sufficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills-- both written and verbal.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to conduct effective safety training and presentations throughout all levels of the organization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, with ability to collaborate across departments and locations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.&nbsp;</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in educational content development using a variety of digital learning and presentation platforms (e.g., Canva).</li></ul></div><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Available for up to 20 % regularly scheduled travel (including overnight) to remote facilities via automobile or airline.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to stand and walk outdoors for extended periods of time in dairy environments and be able to work in all weather conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to sit and focus for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen or while utilizing various office equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to lift equipment and materials up to 25 lbs.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
